Award highlights excellence in breeder management and flock performance across the region
CAMPINAS, Brazil – Aviagen® recently held the 7th edition of the Ross® 308 AP Awards, celebrating companies that achieved outstanding breeder productivity across Brazil’s southern region.
This year’s honorees – Granja Faria and Nutrifrango – earned top results in the categories “total eggs per hen housed” and “total chicks per hen housed” up to 66 weeks of age, based on flocks completed in 2024.
“We congratulate Granja Faria and Nutrifrango, whose good management practices ensure strong welfare, health and performance – bringing out the full potential of the breed,” commented Luiz Mansano, Aviagen’s Commercial Manager in Brazil.
Recognizing dedication across Brazil
The Ross 308 AP Breeder Awards are presented each year across three regional categories – North/Northeast/Central-West, Southeast, and South – along with a national award spotlighting the country’s top three performers. Aviagen personally presents plaques and trophies to each winning customer. In cases of a tie, a 0.5 tolerance rule is applied, meaning some companies may share the same ranking.
